Why does oversized hoodie grading change when a brand sells in the US, Europe, and Asia?

Oversized hoodie grading is the process of increasing or reducing garment measurements from an approved base size while keeping the intended silhouette. For cross-market selling, the grade rule should reflect target body profiles, fit preference, fabric shrinkage, sleeve length, shoulder balance, hood scale, and the way customers in each market read an oversized fit.

How does size grading work for oversized hoodies across different markets?

Size grading for oversized hoodies starts from one approved fit size, usually M or L, then adjusts chest width, shoulder width, body length, sleeve length, armhole depth, hem width, rib tension, hood size, and pocket placement by size. For heavy fleece or French terry, the grading review should also consider fabric thickness. A 450 gsm hoodie does not hang the same way as a 320 gsm hoodie.
